time for church. well, nearly. i'm waiting for the guy to pick me up.
we have this talent show at church. my friend and i and our friend was going to enter as a band, but now he just quit on us. so we don't know what to do.
personally, i feel really bad. we worked very hard together on this song, and now i feel like we have to do this song. BUT the thing is he was the one who chose the song for us, so that kinda pissed me off. i wanna do another song, buh i don't know. we've worked very hard on it, even if we don't know it so well. the talent show is next week. :\
actually life's been kind to me lately. my summer has been great, despite the extremely hot weather. i met some very good people while juggling classes and work and camp. it's been hectic, but so very worth it.
it feels good to look back and see how much you have accomplished. :]
also, i've learned to keep my friends and become closer to them. i've learned to feel beautiful and confident to become so. i've learned to enjoy every moment of life, even if i'm in a slump. i must find a way to get outta it, because it's a waste of time to feel sorry for yourself or whatever. and those few minutes you waste may not mean alot right now, but in the long run, you'll never get that back.
i guess that's what i learned this summer. :] |
