Drinking? tsk tsk...

 Alright, i wrote this about three days ago in my blogger... so i decided to put it up here to see if someone reads it and actually has an opinion... ok here it goes:
" Right now, i dont feel like going to bed and eventho im tired and my eyes hurt i feel like writting something because for some reason i heard this song "when you look me in the eyes" by the JBs (ew...) and it really got me sad... for some unknown reason...
So, why not write about something totally different from the reason i am sad, and just write about something that i've been wanting to write since prom night? Sure =)
Now, i did not go to prom because i did not feel like it and plus I have 3 more proms to go and one being my own.
So, whatever!
Right getting to my point. I really didn't want to hang out with the people there because I know how they are and they drink and party hard and just make a fool of themselves.
I'm not trying to be stereotypical about EVERYONE getting wasted and making a fool outta themselves, because thats too close minded. But i cant stand it. I really cant.
I don't like watching my 15 year old friends getting wasted and making a fool outta themselves and then thinking they are so cool about it. Why? Because it is pathetic. And I mean I'm sure i've learned more from their experience than they have. It's sad.
Ok, what they did (they are two friends of mine)...they got wasted two weeks before prom in a senior party...one of my closest friend got sooo wasted...she kept telling everyone she loved them and then started crying and then laughing and crying again.. and then saying she felt so lonely... and then being happy going around saying she loved you again... erm.. yes! she was so wasted...
Then in school that week, she felt so cool about it because the senior kept joking with her on how funny she was... i was like: hell no, thats not cool... they are making fun of you...
right, ofcourse i said nothing... i just ignored what was going on around me, hoping they (both my friends) realized how bad that was...
They didn't until the next weekend....(just a week from the prom)
A junior was having a b-day party, she invited one of them... why not both? because they knew they were going to get wasted and they weren't going to take care of drunk freshmen...
erm... BURN!
I mean i guess it all has to do with self-control... I mean Im not saying I dont drink in parties, I do, but I know what my limit is. And it is all about responsability. I do not like getting drunk with my friends.. yet. If I drink, I like to be chilling and just hanging out... not drink to get drunk. That's pathetic, and stupid.
I think i made my point, and seriously you would safe yourself from alot of shame if you do take care of your drinking.
Soon...i'll write about smoking.

Right .. hehe ppl dont read weblogs in lsi, but i dont mind just writting about what i think...
