 Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who
supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of
fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the
ugly parts and recycling it for more than it’s worth.
ahhh... today they are doing something on 99x.. the local rock station about the wooo 14 years of air time or something..... yeaaaa going throught the years and this song came out in '99... origin is disputed but its Baz... something... look it up. Made me happy, because I remembered it.
One of my favorite lines in it is Do one thing everyday that scares you. ... try that out sometime.... its kind of interesting.. (( its actually an eleanor roosevelt quote or something, yes this I know ))
First, because it brings you out of your comfort zone for atleast one time each day...
Second, you find how many little things in life you are actually scared of doing... even though sometimes you have to use your imagination to find a few of them.
Third, you will soon discover that you are experiencing a more full life... ... it's no longer absent of those almost menial fears that overcome you in situations... you start to notice with you are bothered with ideas/actions and you work to fix them... each time they occur... confidence... courage... knowing yourself... all of such.
It's amazing what can be wrapped up into a little quote such as that.... so there you go... for whatever it's worth... a bit of advice from me to you =).
